When you run a small business website there are multiple plugins you can use to make your website user-friendly. Here is a tip for you to create a great text widget without using a plugin.

When you look to the right you see an “I need help …” in my widget. I am going to teach you how to make a widget like that.

How To Make A Free Small Business Website Design Widget

1. Find yourself some great icons

Here are some great online free to use icon websites

2. Add your own text

Use a picture editor program as MS Paint or one of these

Make your pictures 100x100px

3. Create a table

You can create a table yourself, or you can copy my code

Sometimes you need to replace the brackets after pasting for making it work, I don’t understand why WordPress changes them.

4. Add your pictures one by one

and paste links to your pictures

 

5. Go over to the text tab

When you are satisfied, grab your code

6. and paste this code into a text widget and save

7. Go to your website and look for the result

You will have a smashing result with this icon widget for your small business design without using a plugin.
