An interview with Shawn Martin, Colleague and friend

As I said, Shawn is a very nice and helpful colleague and business partner. We have worked together on some blog posts, to the full satisfaction of us both and I can recommend you to hire Shawn anytime to write articles for your website.
One of his websites is called “Just Build It Now”, and it doesn’t matter where you build your website, just start with it. Our future and the future of our children is as much online as offline. I played around with the older website builders in the 90’s and early 200’s but until 2012 I had really no experience building websites. WordPress was a whole new experience for me and it was an easy platform to learn. I would say my first real website creation was when I was around 35

This is a very easy question to answer. The lifestyle I lived up until my 50’s was one filled with hard living. Thus, I really think I will have passed on by then, but you just never know! If I am still here I would imagine at that age I would just be working online as a hobby. Possibly writing books maybe. 🙂

I do remember my first blog post! It was about how to replace a set of windshield washers! When I first started at WA there were no free websites. We had to use either the Blogger or the Squidoo platform to create our blogs until we could afford our own website and I started an auto repair how to site on blogger.

The most difficult part of the writing process was to find the best spell checker I could! I am terrible at spelling and at sentence structure but yet I am great at writing, go figure, lol.

I guess my favorite animal would be a cat. I love dogs but they are so high maintenance compared to my cats, and my cats sleep with me, lol
.
I really like to have my own private workspace and I do as I have converted a whole attic space in our 100-year-old house into my office area. I am able to see out the only window from my desk and I am happy!

This is a hard question to answer. I do not like anger and try to stay in a positive space but I guess my biggest sore spots are abusive people. I can not stand wars and bullies and child sexual abuse is at the very top of my list of people’s actions that anger me. I also am angered by the lack of respect people are developing towards each other.
.
What makes me really happy is seeing success in myself and in others. I really like how people will light up when they see they have accomplished something they thought they could not do.
.
I am the most passionate about being a good person. It is very important for me to do the best of my ability in everything I try to do.
