Online Video Course Affiliate Marketer no. #1

Is Affiliate Marketing something for me?

That’s the first question which arose in my mind when I came in contact with Wealthy Affiliate.
What is my vision about that? What do I want to accomplish? What do I have to learn? And, important too, what exactly is Affiliate Marketing? I am Dutch, and I had to find out that the translation for the word affiliate = partner.
My question was: “Is an online video course about affiliate marketing the right choice for me?”

Is Affiliate Marketing something for me?

What could I expect when I would open an account on this Wealthy Affiliate thing?
There were two things I was quite sure of:

I am not going to sell anything!
I am not spending one dime!

I stared at the form what popped-up on the screen. (The screen does look a bit different now, if there is one thing Wealthy Affiliate is very thorough with, then it’s innovation)

Hmmm, Free account??

I’m always a little wary of free offers,

nothing ever is totally free! Somewhere, somehow, somebody is paying a price.

In my experience,

there is always some string attached!

I am in doubt,

shall I?

Shall I not?

What the heck, I’ll give it a try, I thought.

I just don’t give any credit card data!

They don’t get a penny out of me!

That was almost 4 years ago 🙂

And I stayed on the Wealthy Affiliate University, even got the title and I haven’t had one day of regret since I joined. The community is wonderful and helpful. You get prompt answers to any question you have.

I started on the Wealthy Affiliate University from scratch. I couldn’t even make a screenshot and had to fetch my daughter when I htrew something away by accident to lead me to the trash bin. You can see, I came a long way since then. All you find on this website I have learned in the past years. Wealthy affiliate is much more than just an online video course to become an affiliate marketer. Besides the regular official video classes, which are more than hundred, there are thousands of member tutorials about website development just to grab when you need one.

Questions as:

Will I become rich while sleeping?

Can I get rich by following this training course? With hard work and dedication, yes.

Will I become rich while sleeping? No, definitely NOT

I can relate to your first impressions of the Wealthy Affiliate sign up form. Like you I held my distance when contemplating whether to sign up or not. I think I read the landing page 3 times in or so.

But my first impression was fairly positive despite my skepticism, I felt that the information conveyed was relevant to what I wanted to do online, which was create an online business, and the WA site was straight to the point of what they offer in an online training program.

Plus, there wasn’t your typical hype of making $1,000’s of dollars overnight.

The online video courses they offer for affiliate marketers and online entrepreneur’s are easy to follow, constantly updated and hit the things that I want and need to learn to grow my online businesses.

I too Loes have been a member for over 18 months and I think I’m just going to be life timer there, it’s just too convenient of a resource to me and my online business.
