Open an URL in a New Tab, Open a Link in a New Tab

A few months back, I have written a tutorial about how to open a link in a new tab. This tutorial is almost the same but attends “how to open a URL in a new tab. It works just a little different than on my previous training.
When do you need this? Well, when you add forms to your website, you can link those to an extern website. Pop-up forms are extremely suitable for linking to other websites. But in a pop-up form, you can’t enter “a href codes”. So you can’t use the link button on top of your toolbar.
That’s where this tutorial comes in handy.
As you can see here, this is the form of my exit pop-up.
When you enter an Https link in the box, it will not open in a new tab. I some cases it is not recommendable people leave your website premature.
Open an URL in a New Tab, add “target=”_blank”
You can see it in the next picture of how that is done.
This way you can let open every Https link into a new tab.
You can try it out on my exit pop-up, and see to which site it leads, and whilst you are there, you can scroll down and read if this info is something you like.
You can also add H2-H3 tags to the sentence X Close this PopuP X like this <h2>X Close this popuP X</h2> and the text will be enlarged.
Hope this tutorial helped you create your pop-up the way you want it to be.
