Goldrush is of all times and has brought countless people into trouble over the years. You can also see the number of victims with internet deals increasing. What are real ways to make money online and to avoid scams? While you were surfing the internet you found this blog post. You are probably looking for the best way to make money online, which is no scam. And there are really so many scammy sites out there, that you are at the point you hardly trust any smoothly written advertisement anymore. Promises of getting rich overnight without any effort are sky-high. Flashing ads which are telling you how easy it is to get your piece of the pie by just clicking one button. And you did click buttons, and it has cost you money, lots of money, but you never saw one dime coming in. It is really unheard of that they are allowed to freely share such advertisements and to fool people.

How the heck, do these people earn money out there?

The ones who are telling you to get rich overnight are also the ones who actually do get rich overnight, from your money. They are quite right, you trust them, and now they have your attention (and your money). They ask for more a fee. After that, they will tell you that you have to invest a little more money, in order to get a more sophisticated program, and if you do that you will earn the same money as they do. They work with up-sells. It means that you buy a basic program which can be extended with extra features. You are paying to get a seat inside, just for the first incomplete tip, and not enough to earn anything. You do need more info, and when you pay again, you will discover it’s still not sufficient, but HEYYY! There is another upgrade…. and another…. and another…And after the first 3/4 payments, you think, the next one will bring in the money… they have promised me… Then you come to the conclusion you have been scammed and take your lost.

Making millions of dollars overnight

Is that really possible? Yes, when you can attract millions of followers and views on Youtube, and your name is Pewdiepie. But when you are not called Pewdiepie but plain John or Jane, you are out of luck. Or when you got into bitcoins in the early days, you are into big money too right now. When I want to mine bitcoins today, I have to go deep into my pocket to get just one bitcoin.

Years ago, in the early days of the Bitcoin, I received one from a friend. It was staying there in my wallet. One day I decided not to go into the world of bitcoins at all. And I donated that one bitcoin to a charity organization. I hope they appreciated that a couple of years later and did some awesome things with it 🙂

So, we have determined that our name isn’t Pewdiepie, and we didn’t invest in bitcoins either. So forget the scenario to get rich overnight with online currencies or YouTubes, unless you have a unique – superb – magnificent – idea. So ask yourself the next question instead:

How many dollars are going around out there every day?

Well, that is HUGE! That are trillions of dollars going from one bank account to other bank accounts. From person to shop. And that’s exactly the area where we are active. The Goldrush

You might wonder how I come to mention John Pollack. Goldrush is a phenomenon for ages. And John Pollack was a participant of the team which investigated the goldrush of the Klondike, one of the most remote and inhospitable areas in Canada. Near Lake Laberge, in Yukon Valley was found gold and the news spread like wildfire. 100.000 people rushed into the mountains. To Bonanza Creek. Thousands of them didn’t make it through the Chilkoot trail with temperatures of -40 degrees. They either died on their way up the mountain ridge or had to return. Once arrived at the river it was still 450 miles to Lake Laberge.

Gold fever also leads to inventiveness, and Clara and Albert Goddard managed to bring a complete ship across the mountains to the river. The A.G. Goddard was built for the purpose to ship all that gold back to the shore, upstream. Unfortunately, the steam engine turned out to be too small and the ship could no longer get upstream. After a few years serving the golddiggers as transportation over the Lake, the A.J. Goddard sank in a heavy storm.

From the 100.000 who took the plunge, only 400 got rich. 4000 found some gold. And 95.600 lost all their investments and even their lives.

This story from 1896 is actually still topical. Of all those who search for gold on the internet, only a few will become very rich, most will keep on messing around and a large number will certainly lose money. It’s time to take it seriously, learn what you need to know, and thereby create a reasonable chance of an online income. Get your blinkers off, focus first on a supplementary income or a normal income online. Forget about those shouts who tell you that you can earn $ 100,000 in a month. They are fooling you.
