My opinion is that the product is flawed. Who is going to pay money to be a member of a Social Media company when the big established players do not charge users to be members? Instead these players charge advertisers money in order to display ads and the like when you are on their sites.

Hi David, they have a free and a paid membership, you don’t have to pay to be a member, and they offer an affiliate program to earn with. I am a free member, and I am just going to watch where this is going. I stay open-minded until the contrary has been proven.

I’ve had a look at Web talk and I am now a member. To me it seems a combination of Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn!

So far I can see that you can add people socially or as a business contact so you can keep your friends and business associates separate.

I look forward to see how it evolves and to see it to catches on. The fact they have had years to study how the big 3 have grown and what is wrong with them, I get the feeling Webtalk will be perhaps a better model. I do think it will benefit business people more than people who are on it socially.

Know they will have an affiliate scheme no details have been released as yet as far as I know.

Yes, indeed, the Webtalk is the talk of the internet everywhere.

I am going to sign up – I like the sound of someone sharing their profits with me! Finally a platform that exists to serve its users rather than for just making themselves too rich and too powerful (FB I’m thinking of you as I write this!)

Webtalk is a new place, so a lot can happen, but with the Google+ being shut, the Webtalk seems like a kid at the right time at the right place. I wish them luck and hope they’ll, with our help, make it a super success!

Thanks for the review and the invite!

My pleasure Alenka, their timing is indeed awesome! A lot of users are feeling that G+ has let them down, I hope for R.J. Garbowicz and all his follower, (we:) that it becomes a super success!

Webtalk sounds interesting. Frankly, I hadn’t heard of it until very recently; seems like something worth checking out. What can you tell me about their pricing? I know that some programs such as this have introductory rates, or low / medium / high-use rates, but I don’t know if this is one or not. Sounds like a cool way to stay in touch with family and friends. Thanks for posting.Kevin

It’s really a cool way to separate your family, friends and business with their categorization. On this page you can find more about the earnings Socialcpx.com I know they have different accounts. Free and $30/mth. I am not sure whether you can earn affiliate fee with a free account. That’s not totally clear to me too.

    Hi Loes

Thank you for the post regarding Webtalk as I have been hearing a lot lately about this platform.

In fact only today I saw an article online about how this is like combining Facebook, Twitter, and some other places it’s like an all in one platform, which is even better.

As I have been hearing a lot lately it has got me intrigued even more with what they have to offer and how much better it can be compared to some other social media places have been of late.

I know it is invitation at the moment so should I decide to try them out at least I know I can come back here and join.Look forward in reading the many things you have to share.

    Thank you

    Andre

I don’t see any resemblance with Twitter, Andre, more a bit of Facebook and Linkedin. You are always welcome to join me, and I think, this is the right time, they now have 1M members, and they say that with this speed, they will have 10M at the end of the month. It’s your choice if you want to wait, or step in this moment. It’s free, and you are invited 🙂

    Hi Loes,

I noticed people are talking about Webtalk and I think it is time to join.  I am not a big fan of social media, but after reading your post I think Webtalk is maybe just what I need.  A new start in social media.  I will follow the link you provided.

Do you maybe know how strict their affiliate link sharing policy is?

    Great post!

I think this is worth trying, Domagoj, I missed out on the Bitcoins when you could purchase them for less than $4 a piece. Success following your dream 🙂

Thank you, Loes, for the very interesting and informative introduction to WebTalk. With the problems I have been experiencing with one of my social media sites it will be a pleasure to try something new. It appears as though they have thought of everything to keep all ones information secure. This is so important.

I have surfed around Webtalk a bit, and I do like the option of separating family, friends and business. My family gets crazy from me from sharing marketing posts on FB. You are invited to try things out Jill:)

Hi Loes. This is something new. Webtalk Social Media is new to me anyway.

I do like the principle of compartmentalising things like that but I wonder what they are planning to do with their information afterwards.

That is FBs big issue. To make money, they have to use the data they have to generate income at some point.

In the meantime, FB’s popularity is sinking for obvious reasons and maybe Webtalk Social Media is the new kid on the block.

It is certainly worth a try.

Thanks for bringing it to our notice Loes.

I think it’s worth to try this out, you are invited 🙂 And I am convinced that everything you place online is out there someway, somehow. And when you realize that, you are very cautious with what you want to share, and what you want to keep private.

    Dear Loes,

Thanks for the post on Webtalk. Indeed I am getting a lot of invites and people keep talking about Webtalk.

I am already a member of Webtalk and it seems to be a great social media platform. Yes, you are right we can separate the contacts as business, family etc., Which is awesome instead of posting my business related post to my family and friends I can do that separately to my business contact list which is amazing.

May I ask… Is that we receive any referral commission for just inviting or we only receive commissions when our referrals purchase any ad packs etc., Please advice…

    Wishing you much success!

Hi Paul, that’s not quite clear to me either, whether you can get paid as a free member too or if you have to purchase a premium account to be able to earn, here is the page where they go into this a bit deeper, Socialcpx

Anyway, I wish you a lot of success with Webtalk.

Another social media platform huh. Just when I thought we already have enough; I mean there’s Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin. Do we really need more? And Webtalk wants to be the next Facebook? If people actually get paid for being social then I guess it can. But it’s “invite only,” right? Which means unlike Facebook and other social media platforms, you can only join or create an account with them when a member invites you.

But I think what’s great about Webtalk is you can control what will appear on your news feed and what you want to share. Although you can do that with Facebook, you have to always customize.

I am a member, and I am inviting you right now Alice 🙂 I have surfed around this platform and it looks a bit like a combination between Facebook and Linkedin. With the difference that you can categorize your followers into private, professional, customer, prospect and more..and you can also share categorized. I like that, my family get real crazy from my business posts on FB right now 😉

Maybe I see you over there, Loes

I haven’t heard about this before and it really sounds ideal to have just one social media account. I think that most people get to a point where too many things is just overwhelming and can’t keep up with what’s going on out there. The details are great and it gives an on-point idea of Webtalk. It is something that I would give a try because I honestly struggle with keeping up with 3+ social networks; It’s just too much for me.

Hi Kevin, they have an affiliate system of 3 layers deep. You earn a 10% Residual Commission. When you purchase a Webtalk Pro subscription starting at $ 30 per month, or when your referrals buy from advertisers, you receive a commission of 2%-9%. There will be a market place added in the near future too. You can always decide when or if you upgrade, it’s not handy to do that right away, but Webtalk is exploding, and when you manage to get thousands of referrals, it can become profitable in the future. I have now in 1 day 6 referrals. You can join and write a post on your website, like me, and see where it leads. Webtalk has 1M members now, in a couple of weeks, and they claim that, with continuing this speed, they will have 10M at the end of the month. For me it is the right time and the right place to get involved.
