You need strong shoulders to carry the wealth. You see it so often that when people suddenly breakthrough or are successful, they quickly go downhill. They can suddenly pay for everything. They start using drugs or use excessive alcohol. And before you know it, they are once again begging. When their success and wealth is gone.

Empower Network went bankrupt

The rise and fall of the empower network. Like most people, I was very skeptical about what I heard from the Empower Network. And my heart goes out to those who lost a lot of money on this online opportunity. They were left to believe in a system that didn’t work after all. Empower Network went bankrupt.

As my father-in-law always said: “You need strong shoulders to wear the wealth.” He was right as always. You can see that once again when you take a look at David Wood, the founder of Empower Network. The poor man totally lost grip on reality. He humiliated himself and displayed himself in a video on YouTube, which I am not going to share with you because the video damaged enough already. You can still look him up on YouTube if you insist. In his wealth, he grabbed for drugs and destroyed his Empower Network Company. David Wood had a dream, a vision, a beautiful website, and all of it is gone now.

The Empower Network system itself was promoted by the creators David Wood and David Sharpe, who allegedly lived on the street and managed to earn a huge amount of money with nothing less than a laptop, an internet connection and an old van. My first reaction was that I didn’t really trust their story. And I was right, now they are back on the street again. And with their efforts, they took down and even bankrupted thousands of other people.

Multi-level marketing (MLM)

Also on MLSP, My Lead System Pro, a website that helps people promote their pages, David Wood was a regular user that makes me very suspicious of both “get rich quick” programs. This blog is not about the My Lead System Pro, and whether this is a legitimate program or a scam. The MLSP gives training about how to market your business with the MLM system. I have been in an MLM organization, and I keep myself far from it nowadays. It’s not my “thingy”.

When you surf the internet and look for “make money online” opportunities, you will get millions of hits. And it will be hard to find the right one. At least the one which is right for you.
